Chef Pieter Vlok is passionate about food; he transforms simple ingredients with great skill into exquisite and effortlessly presented meals.
Pieter adds unique and authentic flavours to a variety of mouth-watering dishes, which reflect a South African personality. His ideas are bold and fresh and it is important to Pieter to present ‘real’ food perfectly.
We produce everything ourselves. And sometimes, when we can’t, we source only the best. Thoughtful care is taken over preparing our own stocks, sauces, ice creams, and even ageing our meat. We bake fresh foccacia, farmstyle and sourdough breads daily.
As ingredients are sourced mostly from the Boland area the menu changes regularly according to the availability of fresh produce, which keeps Pieter and his team challenged and inspired. Ingredients are delivered to our doorstep on a daily basis; our herb garden, however, sits right outside the kitchen.
For inspiration, we cast about in South African, Asian and European cuisine. We strive for excellence in our food, wine and service in a relaxed atmosphere. The chefs are enthusiastic and love what they do. Thank you for joining us in this experience!
